I am working on a small project that explores the potential for contemporary practice theories to support and possibly reframe academic development. As part of this approach that views professional knowledge and learning as embedded in and distributed across a range of practices I am collecting images and sounds of my own practices that can be defined as professional. While taking in the sunrise over Galway Bay, waiting for the bus, my mind is oriented towards the varied tasks I need to accomplish over the course of the day. In what sense is ‘waiting for the bus’ entangled in my professional practice and so a site for learning?
